I am sure most of you have used computer. Maybe only once a month, for instance when you withdraw money from ATM (Auto Teller Machine). It is a computer that you face: monitor where you see the menu, keyboard where you input the pin number, and of course the CPU inside the ATM box that connected to the bank networking). Or maybe once a week you go to Warnet to check email and update your facebook. Or maybe every day in your office you use computers to write an article, to design a poster, or maybe to program an application. Is that all the computer around us ?
Now we go to the bank. Take your queue number ! (it is computer that printed the coupon that provides the sequence number). You have to listen and pay attention to the queue number display (it is computer that provide update to the queue number that next to served). Then you go to the teller table. After the teller counts your money, she inputs the transaction to the bank's system, printed the transaction in your bank book, and stamped the deposit form. The teller uses the computer as the interface to the bank's system. The system that is a computerized system then communicate with the back end system (database) to update your deposit. Now if you check your account through ATM you can see that your deposit has increased as much as your last deposit.
There are many other places you can find where computer is used. Now it is your turn to tell the story where you can find computer and what it does for us .... (clue: supermarket, cinema, secure parking, post office, production house, etc).
